The blue euro is the euro on the informal market: the same circuit of cuevas and arbolitos as the blue dollar, with less volume. In practice its price is the blue dollar times the day's euro-dollar parity, minus a discount because euros are harder to place in Argentina. The official euro is Banco Nación's.

If you are bringing euros, you get a better deal changing them into dollars in Europe and bringing dollars, or paying by card, than selling euros at a cueva. 100 and 200 euro notes fetch more than small ones.

There are fewer public sources for the euro than for the dollar, and they disagree more: we average the ones there are and say so when they sit far apart.
